Is there a possibility to make more relevant clubs? Like specific breed clubs or has this already been decided on?

Also, maybe it's a good idea to have clubs be allowed to make shows twice a week? There just seems to be so few of them and they get flooded like crazy.

We used to have associations, which players created, but they became redundant and were removed from the game. That's why we only have really broad kinds of clubs in which many animals can be registered.

As for club shows, I don't use them myself, but maybe two shows a week could work? Oh Saaaaammmmmmmm! Give us your thoughts, o wise one!

Well, like on HL there was a SEA club and Paint club and basically a club for all the more well known breeds. I feel like that might help make people get more into a breed if there were a specific club. Also maybe encourage the presidents of the clubs to do a little more because these clubs right now are so broad that most horses just get accepted right away. 

That is true, but I've noticed a lack of people running for presidency in the current clubs. I'm not sure why that is, considering there are achievements to get regarding being a club president. However, having specific breed clubs could increase interest... but then everyone might want a club for their breed. I dunno.

I'm open to two shows per week!

We can definitely make new clubs, but we can't have TOO many more because there have to be people to run them or it's no fun! It's been awhile since it's happened, but it's not unheard of for a club to just not have anyone who wants to run it for the month, so that worries me a bit with adding more.

Maybe just a few of the more popular breeds for now and see how it goes? I'm mean just changing the "test" clubs to something would be a start.

I agree with this, especially having the 2 Club shows a week, would make training a plus. I also agree on adding at LEAST the 2 "test" clubs into something if nothing more is added in.

That's very understandable, Sam, due to the whole Assocuation- Club thing but perhaps you could filter it to something to benefit the Embassies, a popular breed or something similar to a real association/club? For example, we have the AKC/All Dogs Club which is a real club, so maybe do like: NRHA, NBHA, NCHA, NRHA, NAFHA, USHJA, USDA, etc. 

Or, if not those, you could always have a player association possibly be one like the Fox Breeders Association, The Breeder's Almanac or my International Sporthorse Connection Association. These are just my two cents though.

The thing with associations is that only one person runs them. There's no monthly election for a new president. What happens when a player goes on hiatus or straight up quits?

Well, I worded it badly, but I mean what we had as associations be Clubs, so that way there is still that monthly roll-over and could benefit the Embassies too maybe; like instead of Fox Breeder Association it could be Fox Breeder Club or something in that instance. Sorry for the confusion lol

Ohhh. Yea that might work, but again, I sense there will be too many clubs and not enough people to run them... I could see it happening when HP is super full of consistent players.

hot take: i don't think most club shows are flooded. when presidents make the shows on sunday to run in 2-3 days -or- they create the shows on a tue or wed to run fri/sat, the shows are not very crowded.

as someone who enters all her horses in club shows, i go through the hassle because i notice only a few people take the time to do this. it's worth it to me because these shows are still less crowded than a lot of the public shows. 

that said, if presidents had the capacity to make 2 shows a week, that's more shows for everyone! :) 

I've noticed very few people running for president just this month alone. Like one or two per a club? Plus having broad spectrum clubs means bigger registries which is sort of nice?

Is there a way we can add in a perk for a foal bred from two parents registered from the same club?

Also Tana in regards to your question I believe there were policies about keeping your association active at least by accepting the horses pending registry. If you didn't you were given the chance to do so before the association was passed off to a player who was more equipt to handle the time responsibilies.

I agree with Siib, I like the more broad spectrum clubs as there's just more activity then. Like Chao has mentioned in another thread - the Working Club, I think would be nice to have as it can cover a variety of dogs. There is so little activity in many of the clubs at times, that it really makes no sense to have breed specific clubs at this time. 

I like the idea of adding at least a few new clubs - perhaps a Warmblood Society (PLEASE!) or Sport Horse Club ?  I am also in agreement with having 2 shows per week - shows get flooded way too much!

I think the focus has been getting horse clubs registration issue fixed (and I'm not sure if Sam is seriously considering the shows). I would very much like to see clubs get double shows though.
