But not in a bad way! Lmao. He didn't get out on to the road or anything, but he did manage to open the gate on the other side of his paddock that leads out to one of our larger paddocks.

I was going to bring him back in but he looks so happy out there. He was trotting and cantering around today and thoroughly enjoying himself. Plus there's more feed out there, especially now that we've had some rain so i'll just let him be until I need him.

It's actually really helpful, because that paddock is the beginning of where we'll be trail riding so he's familiarizing himself with some of the places we'll be going, and while he's enjoying himself out there he's less bothered by where Hunter and Brownie are.

He got really buddy sour for a while and I had to move them to a big paddock on the other side of the property away from him because it made him impossible to take out on his own. Nobody can ride Brownie except her owner (boss's husband) and Hunter is not beginner suitable so I had no one to come with me, and I wasn't comfortable taking Ollie out on trails by myself when he was behaving like an idiot lol. He is MUCH MUCH better now that he's been away from them for a while and had some other, funner things to focus on and we'll be hitting the trails either tonight or tomorrow morning!

He's so pretty! And smart! Haha.

My first horse Pattie was such an escape artist!  All she would ever do though would open her gate and then run down the road (thankfully we lived on a dead end in the country) to see the horses at the nieghbors.  She never went anywhere else.  I kept telling my dad we needed a second horse so she could have a buddy.  It never worked. LOL
