My Babies

I know that some of them are dogs/horses, but I wanted them all in one thread! Haha. So here are pictures of all of my babies :). And some commentary, haha.
This is Dixie today, after rolling around in the arena. She's my 21 year-old American Saddlebred that I've had since she was 12. 
And this was Dixie and me at a show a few (maybe more than a few at this point) years ago.  But don't get too excited, this was a few seconds later, haha. In all seriousness though, she was a great jumper. But she doesn't jump anymore. I'm planning to re-train her this summer after a three year hiatus for her to do trails or some sort of pleasure riding. And then the plan is to sell her since I can only afford Brooks to board and don't own property.  This is Winnie, we got her as Dixie's companion horse and she is now boarded with my Gelding (and Dixie). But soon she will be moving to Arkansas, although I'm starting to get attached to her and will miss her.  She's the big boss mama. I think she'll be happy moving to Arkansas to pony colts. But I hope she and Dixie don't suffer too much separation anxiety since they haven't been apart in nearly three years!  And we can't forget Brooks! He's my little tiny 2 year-old gelding who I got in December (maybe you remember the naming contest I had for him?). He's come a loonnngggg way since then and is now lunging and following directions much better!   Here is Sully, mine and Joel's new doggy (well now he's not-so-new, haha, but whatever). He's 4 or 5 years old from the Humane Society and he is a black lab x pointer. He's a very good dog!   And Snickers (also known as Mr. Doo, and Snickydoo), my cat.  Also, some lazy-butt animals taking over my bed! Haha. (Oh, and did I mention my cat was a giant? My cat is a giant.)  Finally, let's not forget Cini-Mini my dwarf Robo hamster!  Obviously, I am an animal hoarder. But it's okay, whatever. :). |

Yes! Do it! Haha. And then all of the animals can have another person to get attention from! |

Snickers has to be one of the prettiest looking cats I ever saw! Especially those eyes. |

Winnie left yesterday, which was (is) hard, but she;s settling into her new home okay and seems happy! So I'm glad because this way she will have a better life and actually have a purpose other than companion horse. |
