We are now currently almost in January of 2018 and it has been 6 months since I started my Medicine Holsteiner lines; I am about to go onto my third generation with She's Gone Wicked and Kharmic Medicine. I have been toying with the idea of possibly selling a back-up from this pair to someone who currently breeds - or wishes to take up the breed - these horses.

I am currently strattling the fence with the idea for two main reasons: the first reason is that unlike AQH's, Trakhners and Paint horses, Holsteiners are actually quite rare within the game. There is only half of a page full of them being actively trained and bred on the game, which gives almost little to no line extension ability except through stores. The second reason is also unlike these breeds, or even rare dog breeds, Holsteiners just do not seem to have much breeding interest connected to them as there is just very little appeal; excluding the 5 - 6 ultimately dedicated breeders, Holsteiners are basically dead, which gives me worry that my hard work on these lines will be for not. Like everyone else on this game, I have put lots of real money and time into these horses and I really do not want such labor of love to go to waste. She's Gone Wicked is also extremely special to me, being as she is the first horse I have ever broken personal achievements/records with, more so than any other breed I have attempted on the game; she is the first baby I ever personally bred and raise to get into the Top 25 Young Horses in the rankings, She is the first to ever be born with 100k in points and have a pedigee of 1.4 - 1.5miller parents. I have never gotten these on any other breeds I have personally raised, which makes me a bit more hesitant to sell a back-up, however I am not entirely closed off to the idea.

At this point, I am estimating that She's Gone Wicked should have between 1.5 - 1.7mil by retirement and Kharmic Medicine should have 1.3 - 1.4mil by retirement, which would give a 118 - 120k baby at minimum. I am wondering what exactly the interest level would be from a back-up from this, and how much would be the a decent SB for it? I am also more than willing to wait it out to G4 - G5 before selling out as well, as I want this line to do well. Any thoughts on this are highly appreciated! ♥
