Hey guys!

There was another forum thread about possibly adding new clubs, so I thought I would bring an official discussion over and ask what new clubs you'd like to see!

We can't add a ton more becase there have to be people to run them, but we can maybe add a total of 5 more clubs, horse or dog! So, tell us what you want to see :).

Mythical dogs? Idk if that would be the proper wording. Maybe Fantasy dogs. Cuz we have Liberty Labs and Direwolves and such. 

This way, if we ever get Demodogs *cough*pretty please*cough*, then they'll have a happy lil club!

I'm with Kalei on that! And maybe a Working Dog club? Cause like, Swiss Mt Dogs aren't great at agility and aren't hunters, but they aren't Wild or mutts xD

As for another horse club, maybe a  Jumping club? 

a mythical dog club is a good idea, also what about a toy dog club? (for the small dogs) i also like the idea of like elite clubs for horse or dog of any breed who are above and beyond what normal breeding/ point standards are

I agree with Kale and Koni both on the clubs; there are some breeds who just don't fit in the current categories we have, so they end up being unregistered. I have always felt that the Clubs sort of connect the players/other breeders in a fun way and being able to integrate them would be nice.

I'd love for a Working Dogs Club and think that'd be very useful, especially those who breed Bermese Mountain dogs or Huskies. I also think a Toy or Non-Sporting Club would be good too, like Kaly said; though I do disagree on the Jumping/Dressage Clubs as technically that could count for the already-made English Club since that's the discipline that falls under, just like western club.

Personally, I'd love a Breeders Connection Club to connect us breeders more together {great for lines too!!} and could also maybe fit under the elite thing Kaly was discussing as well, or Limited Edition Club for animals that are sold in limited editions *coughs* Zombie horses *coughs*.

Other than that, I'm not really sure what else could be a Club, unless you possibly wanted to add what HL used to have: Trail Riding Club, FFA Club, 4H-Club or Unicorn Club.

I would love a working club as I breed many doggos that fall under that category. Non-sporting and toy are good club categories as well. I feel like most of the horse clubs are covered. I would just like to see a few more dogs ones. Also, I'm not fond of the breed-specific as I just don't think there would be enough interest to keep them afloat. There would be only so many peeps who would want to be prezzi before the breeders would run out and not every breeder would necessarily want to be a club president either.

Working Club for dogs for sure! Toy would be nice as well. For horses I sort of like Trail Riding Club (open to basically everything of course).

Horses I feel like are pretty well covered tbh, unless we added breed specific which I don't think is a great idea all considering. We have a LOT of breeds and to add in one or two breed specific clubs seems really unfair for the breeds that wouldn't be accepted and therefore would be missing out on the chance to earn those points.

Equ, I was going to say that we aalready have a breeder connection type deal and then I realized I haven't seen Trig around which means that probably no one is running it atm. :( However I'm not sure it would be a great club idea as the presidents change monthly and with such a quick turn around rate it might be hard for people to accurately list all the breeders and their information. I know for Trig she had it set up where she would check every couple of months or so to see what generation people were on and make sure they were still active and her list was nice and neat. I would love to see that get used more again but until/unless she's back and active I'm not sure it would be unless someone else took over.

On that note, anyone got Trig's contact info to ask her about letting someone else run that?

I brought up working a little while ago. Personally I'd like to see a club for each of the AKC groups that don't have a breed type in the name (so herding, toy, working, non-sporting, sporting... Maybe skip non-sporting since that's basically their "none of the above" and we have all dog, rare, agility, and obedience for that) as well as the dog disciplines. I feel like horses are basically covered, but options for dogs are VERY very limited.
