Private Shows

Hello Everyone! I'm fairly new here, and coming from HL, I've seemed to grasp the concept of how most things work here on HP. One question I do have though is on private shows. I'm upgraded, so I understand that I can make them once a week and I see how to make them. I'm more curious as to how we as players use these private shows. How much money do private shows usually go for? Reasonably? Do you only sell them to one person for all their horses, or is there a certain number of people you sell one show to? When you agree on a price, do you make the private show free and just expect another method for the buyer to pay, or do you make the show the price that is agreed on? I hope these questions are clear enough to understand. Again, sorry if I worded something stupid, total newbie here. I'd like to sell private shows but I want to understand fully how they work before I try interacting with other members. |

Hey and welcome to HP!Private shows can work two ways.1. You can sell the show to one person only. They can put as many horses/dogs (depending on which show) as they want into it for you to accept. These normally run about 3-4mil per dog show and 5-7mil per horse show.2. You can sell to a few people, this is referred to as selling (or looking for) "spots." Meaning a player only wants to enter 1-2 (or 2-4) animals into a show rather than buying a full one. (Since points are awarded for the top 50 places, the less people in the show the better, regardless of 2 animals, compared to 10 type deal). So the normal is 10-12 horses/dogs per show, at a cost of 1mil/horse spot and 500k/dog spot. Most people use 2 spots in these cases, so you would be selling 1 show to 5 people for the most part.As for show price. Some people change it to $0 since they are spending either 1mil/500k per spot or 3-8mil per show. While other keep the default at $500. Totally up to you in the end.Hope this helps! |
