Hiya!
So i'm once again, a returning player. Although this time I have MUCH more time to actually focus on the game itself. I'm restarting lines. But I don't really know anyone here anymore, and I'm not really sure what to do or how to do it xD
Suggestions? I really want to get back into the swing of things, but so much has changed since I left! |

Hello Primrose, First off, I'd love to welcome you back into the community! I'm glad you're able to come back and join us; as Siib stated feel free to ask any of us questions you may have! In regards to you restarting, since you do not specify what exactly you'd like to know, I will just give you the typical rundowns of breeding on here. Breeding on here is basically the same as its always been, the choice is up to you on how you'd like to breed. The main question is what do you plan to get into exactly? Do you want to be in a popular market or go out on your own? Many like to stick to the permanently stable breeds like Trakehners, Paint Horses, Thoroughbreds, American Quarter Horses/Quarter Horses, Unicorns, and Arabians for horses and German Shepherds, Boxers, Golden Retrievers, Labradors, Corgis, and Foxes to name a few dogs; if you want to go fully out on your own, then feel free to pick about any breed. Most Rare Breeds are horses or dogs that have less than 10 pages of currently active breeders. Training is pretty much the same as well and can be chosen based on your budget. Typically, the fastest way to train - via Upgrade - is 80 shows/wk that involve club shows and Private Shows from other players to gain points more quickly {which can range of up to 10mil depending on the seller, spots open, etc.}, the other way - more basically - can be just putting them in public shows and club shows every week, which will get them to 1 million with consistent training before retirement. All private shows and club shows - depending on your animal's placement or the number of animals in that show - can give you up to 2,000 points. All public shows have up to 1,000 points/wk depending on your horse's placement. People do not typically use horse or dog tickets unless they are doing a project, as they can be pretty expensive to buy for just normal training, but this is also an option if need be. The ages for horses that retire is 21 years and dogs retire at 16 years; breeding your animals is also up to you, but our typical rule of thumb is to breed them one time at 20 for horses and 15 for dogs unless we plan on selling back-ups. We typically do not breed more than 2 times on an animal, but this is just personal preference really so that is also something to keep in mind. Finally, you may have seen the Breed Ambassadors here now in the game; it is basically a giant studbook/directory for the breeds of HP. Many of us use this as a way of creating a project to add more breeders and economic lineage marketing throughout the game { this is quite skimp in some breeds!}. There have been some rule changes on how these Embassies work, but, you could also do this if you tend to strike out on your own with a breed. This is pretty much the basics of it, hopefully this helps you! :)

Lol, of course it didn't post my whole reply.
Anyways, I grabbed a pair of Unicorns off of Moorf, so I'm running with those right now. I'm thinking about doing a few others on my spares. I've honestly forgotten how I went about doing lines and breeding pairs, so thats where I'm stumped right now. Otherwise I THINK I'm doing okay xD
Gonna go hang out in chat for a bit, see you guys around! |

Hey primrose!
I just started playing HP a few months ago after being away... maybe 5 years? Lol.
I also don't know too many of the current players, but let me know if you need anything. :) |
