My rescued goaties! names: Bertha, Totes Ma Goats, Aladdin, Picasso, Kovu, Star (R.I.P.), and Gwin! Love these guys! They were all rescued from the same farm Bertha, Totes, Star and Gwin had been kept in a 12x6 stall with FIVE other goats (nine total!). They had never been outside and the pen had never been cleaned (the manure was piled past my knees). They had been living in that for three years. Picasso, Kovu, and Aladdin were luckier in the sense that they were only kids and didn't live there as long as the girls. They were kept in a chicken coop about 12 x 12 with over 10 other goats and the only outside time they got was in a 10x4 mud pit. All of the goats are now happily living in a HUGE grassy pasture together where they can finally stretch their little goat legs and eat grass! Emmie:  She is also a rescued cow, living at the same farm my goats are at. She came from the farm my goats were at as well, and she was living in a mud pit with no other cows. She had no shelter. She now lives with 4 other cows in a big grassy field with a barn for shelter. Ginger:  We adopted Ginger from the SPCA when she was 7 years old...She was 130lbs! She is now 13 years old and the best dog anyone could ask for--don't ever let the age of a dog stop you from adopting it; Ginger is proof that old dogs still have plenty of love to give :) Lana and Cloe:   crazy kitties

totes ma goats xD if I had a goat, I would totally name him that :P goats are so cute hehe |

lol I actually don't live on a farm (yet). I'm somehow the only person in my whole family who does anything with farm animals lol. The goats and cow are all boarded at a farm not far from my school (not like horse boarding, though...basically I buy all of the supplies and do work around the farm in exchange for the land they're using lol). It works out nicely xD and yes Totes ma Goats is the best goat name! (It's from the movie "I Love You, Man" |
