Critique Wanted!

This is my first graphic in a loooooong time. Tips/critique would be great! At the moment I'm limited because I'm playing with an old-school Paint Shop Pro disc and I don't have a tablet. This was my first attempt at .. dappling? and playing with light/dark, and also an attempt at painting a basic mane/tail. HP version: http://oi39.tinypic.com/o6h0go.jpg
