I'm looking for some recommendations for some good podcasts...maybe something for hockey or crime/serial killers?

Ohhhh! Me and my sister were just talking about podcast. She has one she loves that's scary stories (think about the books in the Scary Stories to Tell in thr Dark books). If this is something you're interested in I can totally get the name from her again. 

I love true crime podcasts! My favorites are My Favorite Murder, S-Town, Serial, Last Podcast on the Left, and Wine and Crime.

I've also heard that Small Town Murder, Casefile, and Atlanta Monster are good, but I haven't tried them. Stay away from Sword and Scale, the guy who runs it is a total creep and body shames his fans on Twitter, doxxed a 14 year old victim, and in general is just super skeevy.

They're not true crime or hockey related, but you might also like This American Life, Delete This, Welcome to Night Vale, WTF with Marc Maron, Armchair Expert with Dax Shepherd, 2 Dope Queens, and My Brother My Brother and Me.

Also, I know you aren't a John Green superfan, but his advice podcast with his brother Hank called Dear Hank and John is amazing and hilarious.

I second My Favorite Murder! The first couple episodes were a little tough to get through but from then on they're great!
