critique and tips please! :)

So this is just a WIP at the moment, this is my first manip in a couple years now I think and also my first painted mane and tail, I've only ever smudged them. I re-did the tail about 5 times and I still don't think I'm happy with it, I don't know what it's missing? I am yet to add in finer details yet but I thought I'd get some comments before I went on ahead. Any other pointers would be greatly appreciated. :) Thanks guys! clicky! |

I absolutely love the colours and the feel of the image! Also the mane and tail are amazing, they don't look like a first attempt at all! Plenty of dimension to them etc.The only thing I can think of is the mane looks 'windier' than the tail? I wouldn't worry about that though, it might just be my personal opinion. |

Thanks guys! :)Denim I think that could be my problem with it as well, the tail is much blockier than the mane, I'll have a play with it, thanks. :) |

Thanks! Yeah I was thinking an eagle or something and maybe wings to the horse, not sure? And also little details like the rock crumbling and things like that. :) |
