Little bit of Gimp help

Gahh, really trying to get my graphics up and going, but I have needed a new program for some time, the one I have is very limited. So I downloaded GIMP(again) and I am having the same frustrations as I have the past three times I have attempted using this program, everything is so foreign! I have applied to Blue's Design school, but to no response, I was simply wondering if anyone is familiar with anywhere that has good gimp tutorials and what not?

I use GIMP,maybe I could be of help?What is it you're having trouble with? |
