Leah & Chester

Okay... so I look like gigantor on this teeny tiny 14hh pony, considering I'm like... 5'9! Whoops, but this is Chester - I love him to bits, he's not mine but my cousins and I ride him a lot, he's a Welsh Pony x Arab, a fine little fella who takes a lot of weight (surprisingly!) No nasty comments about being to big for him please, I know I'm obviously too tall but he NEVER struggles!   And this, this is 'ol grumpy guts Leah! Again, she belongs to my cousin Sarah, she's an American Paint Horse (Or so her passport says... feel free to discuss!! As neither me or my cousin believe it!!) She's wonderful, but very naughty :( She's recently been having lots of health problems since she hit 18, but she's soldiering on :D    A cute one of the two of them, I love this :D They really do get on... (most the time) more a brotherly-sisterly love xD

Awww xD. It's okay, I know your feeling. At 5.5' I was forced onto a welsh pony bareback. My feet were pretty much touching the ground!! :P Life aint about waiting for the STORM to pass by, it is about learning how to dance in the RAIN~ Arosa, breeding Akhal Tekes since September 2012. |

Hahaha, I've gotten used to the feeling of being on something so small as I clamber on board quite regularly :P He's a good boy (despite being rather spooky...) but he doesn't seem to have any issues carrying me or his owner (who's a similar height) so it's all good xDAnd thanks Zexious, I love them both so much xD |

Cute! I love their markings. ;D Beautiful horses! And don't worry about the height issue! My boyfriend's horse is really short too. It's funny to see him on Gharris(Who is about 14 hands) because my boyfriend is 6 feet so his feet are really close to the ground! He jokes that if he ever fell off him it'd be like falling off a chair. :P Gharris also likes to better when I ride him because of weight difference. He gets all frisky after I've ridden him and Dustin gets on. xD |

Thank you everyone :DI love Chez's face markings the best, he also has a dorsal stripe and 2 black spots in his bum which you can't see the photo's but I'll try get a picture when I see him next Saturday xD It's so funny, such a strange pony!!Oh, Chez doesn't really notice the difference from me and his owner I don't think, there is about 10lb's between us and about 2 inches in height, but he takes a lot, it's the Welsh in him I think, if he was pure Arab I'd be afraid of breaking him xD |

Ha, my Fritz is welsh pony quarter horse cross and he is short but built like a tank, I'm 5'5 and 130 plus western saddle and he carried me all day long and won countless races against the tall horses. I love the hardy little ponies :) Chester is adorable! :) |

Hardy little ponies are the best!! I like shorties providing they're chunky so I don't like stupid, and don't struggle with me of course! Chez is an exception he's a great ride so I don't care how silly I look xDAnd yes, hopefully - I'm starting a 3 year university course this September so not until I've graduated, I doubt it'd be fair otherwise :( I had a like gypsy vanner cob of my own (Mario) but had to sell him about 2 and a half years ago because of college >. |
