So I don't have a vehicle right now and do most of my shopping, for anything online. I've been through most of the meal delivery services (Blue Apron, Plated, Green Chef, etc, to try out with the beginning discounts) - and I like the ease but the recipies are never 100% what I need for my diet, or want lol

Been looking into Omaha Steaks for meat, because my favorite is seafood. I'll be buying meat at first for two weeks at a time, eventually I'd love to be able to purchase a month out or more to save money buying bulk.. but meh.

Anyone ever ordered their meats online? Looking at cost, mostly. But also variety.

I have not, but I know a lot of bloggers recommend Vital Proteins and Butcher Box!

We used Omaha Steak growing up and orderd a month out. We also bought 2 big stand up freezers from them. It was amazing - we only had to go out and grabbed sides and that was pretty convient (we were a family of 2 parents, four kids).

I don't use them now - it just isn't in our budget at the moment. We do use Amazon Pantry to order a lot of foods and I usually take off to the store once a week to buy meat for 2 weeks at a time.

I actually just found out HyVee - local grocery store does online shopping!! I am super excited. Going to go through one of these days and try to plan out a two week list!! The whole appeal of Omaha steaks was the meat quality and the options I didn't think local places would have (Ahi tuna, swordfish) but HyVee has them!

Walmart and Kroger have both started their online grocery ordering too. You order, drive up and they load it up in your car. I use them too.

Yeah we do online ordering at my store, too. We do it both through curbside pickup, and a company called Shipt.

Starting my 2 week grocery list today! We will see how it goes. Maybe I should fill a cart with the same things on HyVee and Walmart to see where I stand. I bet Walmart will be cheaper, but I'm not a huge fan of Walmart lol.

SOmeone recomended amazon fresh, or what i do is use the checklist app for my local grocery store. I pull up and they bring it out. Walmart does the same now i believe. I just have issues because im hecka picky with bread, fruist and veggies. So its really up to you. Lots of places do online trials dont they? Like sample or first month half off?
