What did you have for lunch today?

It's gonna be cooked in a sauce made of crushed tomato, some water, s & p, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a touch of clove. Little bit of garlic powder, too. Served with feta on the side. I didn't feel like cooking and I went and got some fried noodles with veggies, beef, chicken, and shrimp.     |

Kritharaki recipe: https://greekcitytimes.com/2017/05/01/kritharaki-in-homemade-tomato-saltsa/ That one, but add cinammon and clove (nutmeg, too). Trust me, it'll become comfort food you never knew you needed in your life. I don't measure out specifically how much I use, but I'd say the nutmeg is about half a tablespoon, the clove maybe a little less than a tablespoon... the cinammon could be up to 2 tablespoons lol I don't really know. I just know by looking at it. I would recommend adding it slowly, stirring, and tasting. You want the flavor to go from meh tomato sauce to warmth and coziness, with a hint of spice.     |
