Hiya! Noxhidis here -- Nox for short (although I see there's another user named Nox, so new nicknames are welcome.) My real name is Sydney, and you're welcome to use that if it suits your fancy. I'm eighteen, living in Oklahoma, and currently attending college as a Creative Writing major. I'm a student worker at my college. (I mostly just answer phones, sort mail, and restock the copier.) On the weekends, my boyfriend and I come home to my parents, my grandma, our five dogs, two cats, two horses, two ponies, and a very fat goldfish.

I'm a pretty artsy person. I like to experiment with different art mediums and forms, and I love to see what others have created, too! I'm a casual gamer, and I've made a hobby of watching film and television shows. You could consider me a bit of a "geek" and/or "nerd." I consider tea and hot chocolate to be Nectars of the Gods, and I have an unhealthy obsession with cheese and cheese pizza. Harry Potter has pretty much been my favorite thing since I read the first book when I was six, so we should just get that out of the way right now.

Let's see. On here, I'm hoping to start a line of foxes! I'm not beginning yet, because it's my first day, and I want to make sure I have sufficient funds. I also have been super busy with my school work and responsibilities on another site, so I want to have enough time to commit to my pretty babies!

I think I've rambled long enough. I'm excited to be here, and I'm looking forward to meeting all of you!

Everyone is so intimidated by chat! And I cannot for the life of me figure out why! I promise, we're all fun, awesome people who won't bite or make you feel uncomfortable or any of that nonsense!

Hm. Perhaps it's because it's in real time, rather than forums where things move more slowly? I'm not sure! I haven't been in a chat room in years aside from conversations on Yahoo Messenger. xD

It can move pretty fast when we have a bunch of people in there at once. But there are a lot of times when it's pretty slow and calm.
