I went to breed my two dogs and got an error message from HP saying “Inbreeding is not allowed” but both dogs are not in anyway related. I am trying to breed her to dog Rocko https://horsephenomena.com/dogs.php?id=117131 (who is a pup out of Bob #114671 and Nadia #114670)

I messaged you back! I checked the coding and noticed an inconsistency (calling a female dog a mare in the script), so I think that might have been it, so I fixed that and try breeding them again and let me know. I will set the pup's age day back to Sunday for you! |

Hey Sam, I tried breeding them again and it still popped up with the same error. |

I found the issue! I did the breeding and messaged you. Just as a general note to everyone: When you're doing things like breedings (or upgrade auctions it's a common problem too), make sure you only have ONE tab/window with HP open doing the same thing, or it can cause weird inconsistencies or errors when things are being inserted into the database. It's okay for have two HP windows open if one is in chat and one is breeding, but if you have multiple windows open both breeding animals that's when things can get weird. On a similar note, make sure you're only logged into ONE HP account in your browser at a time. If you need to switch accounts, use the logout link in the footer and make sure you've closed all windows that were signed in on that account - otherwise similar issues can happen. |
