So I just joined and i've never heard of this site before and I have no idea what the heck to do. Any advice/ tips?

You might want to check out our Getting Started guide - it goes through your home page, your profile settings, buying/customizing/caring for animals, and more! 

Most of us pick a horse or dog breed (or both) that we'd like to train, and we buy a male and female of that breed to start training. We breed those together to get a baby, and we train that baby when it grows up. Sometimes we sell our animals to other players, or buy animals from other players to include in our lines.

Some of us do other things in the game too like chat in the Chat Room or here in the forums. Some code layouts for your home page or animal pages. Some make graphic images for your home page or for your animals. 

This is a very very welcoming and kind community, and we're always willing to help new players settle in and get their bearings! We usually have some people hanging out in chat if you wanna pop in there, or you're more than welcome to message me or any of the staff if you have any questions or need some help!

Definitely all Mango said, and come join us in Chat!  We're quite friendly and can help you find your way around - and lots of us have multiple breeds and can do backups for you if you want!

I always have multi-generation lined paint foals for sale too.

You're going to want to train your SADDLEBRED pair before Saturday night. Otherwise you'll lose a week of training on them. The more you train them, the more points they'll have and then the more points their foal will have when you breed them. Also you'll want to set your breed specialty to American saddlebreds because than you can enter them into 80 shows every week instead of 70, thus earning more points, as well as be able to earn double points on them for training every week.
