I've always wondered...
What breed did you choose to be your "main" breed on here, and why?

I will start to -bump- up the post!

I chose Morgans as a main breed because the first horse that I ever road was a Morgan named Stubb.
My auntie owned him when I was little (he was the same age as me) and sold him to my family when I was around 9 years old.
I rode him from the time we were both 4, until he died at age 24.

Aww! I'll go next: I adore painted/pinto/spotted breeds and am living in Colorado, so naturally, the Colorado Ranger fit my tastes. My name is a reference to my old dog and soulmate, Goose.

Well, almost all my breeds have a personal connection; I chose Dutchies as my RL mare is a DWB and I've been primarily working with WBs the last few years so it seemed fitting!

I was like two weeks into playing HP and Kace told me to breed doberman sheps. So I started 'em. Moved them to my main about a generation ago because, idk, they were the breed of mine I was most into at the time.

Thinking about switching my pegasus here. Or maybe my beaucerons. We'll see. 

Basically -- no special attachment. lol

Paints because my RL mare is an APHA registered full Paint. She's my girl! We were made for each other!

But I have 1 or 2 pairs of many other random breeds that I have some sort of personal connection to. I couldn't choose just one, you know! It's too much fun to have as many horses as you want!

My sister's horse is a Standardbred gelding and he's so sweet! As well as a gelding I rode when I was a lot more experienced named Rulin. He was kind of a brat sometimes, but I loved him! One of the first few horses i ever rode for lessons was an Arabian gelding. He would do anything for me! My instructor even said he should have been mine instead of hers! Another one of my favorite lesson horses i rode later on was a really really tall THOROUGHBRED mare named Banner. She was so good! And I loved riding her too because my instructor always made such a big deal about how my long legs could get up on her without a mounting block every time.

Some are just inspired by some of my favorite movies/tv shows like DWB, Mustangs, Kuvasz, saint Bernards. Although my saint Bernards are also in honor of my great grandmother who was the most important relative of all my family members and she gave me the Beethoveen movies as a kid. AQH are inspired by my favorite horse trainer, Clinton Anderson.

I am currently debating switching to AWH for my main breed.

I dunno, Neke, I can't see you sticking with another main breed. I mean. Morgan Queen.

G.S.D.s because I've always wanted one since I was a kid, and because they were my main breed on HL (along with Shires).

My pen pal was the one who introduced me to horseland, and at the time when I started, she was breeding Missouri Fox Trotters. When I came here years later, I started them kind of in her honor. She quit HL not longer after I started but here I still am. xD

I fell in love with the American Saddlebred when I was in college. They introduced me to a whole new side of the equine sport and I just have a bunch of really great memories looking between the ears of an ASB. Love their personalities, versitility, and everything about them really, haha! :D

i chose QHs bc it was the first brred of horse that i ever owned irl. 
at one point i had one on here named "iradescent storm" which was named after him ????

I'm slightly jealous of all the people who have breeds because of animals they knew IRL!

I have always bred Dutchies in the game.... ever since I started playing HL back in 1999! I had just achieved highest pointed of breed when the change happened.... and we all know how expensive projects are! I cried for days!

As for why? I have no idea, except to say that there has always been dwbs in a City of Angels stable for 22 years. And I have always been C.o.A too!

I mean she's on dry hay feed here so she'd be happy for like, 1 day.
