So let me start by saying that I have recently become VERY passionate about this breed.....and I am about to most likely put too much info for this type of post, but I want to spread the word!!!! This is sort of a "recognized crossbreed request" as well as a "new breed request". Please bear with me as I try my best to explain in a way that makes sense.

The breed: Saint-Pierre Dog
2nd Generation Labernese (Labrador x Bernese Mountain Dog). 

LAB x BMD = Labernese 
Labernese x Labernese = Saint-Pierre Dog

In RL......

- These dogs were devloped in Canada by The Mira Foundation [link]. - The Mira foundation specializes in breeding & training dogs for the benefit of individuals living with a physical or visual disability or autism. 
- One of my favorite youtubers Molly Burke [youtube link] is a wonderful, loving recipient of (multiple!) Mira Saint-Pierre Dogs. Her relationship she has with her guide dogs is so beautiful, and it is amazing to see how much freedom her guide dogs bring her.
- I want to do everything I can (in ways that make sense to me) to bring awareness to the world about this wonderful foundation, their amazing breeding program, and their unbeatable training program. 

So on HP.....

- This would be a recognized crossbreed request - "Labrador Retriever" x "Bernese Mountain Dog" = "Labernese".
- This would be another new crossbreed request - "Labernese" x "Labernese" = "Saint-Pierre Dog".

My HP goals if added: 

- Become an established breeder (I already have 4 pairs of each foundation breed started). 
- Only breed 100% lined Saint-Pierre Dogs to help boost their value, bring more awareness, and better represent their amazing uniqueness and their impeccable linage in real life. 
- Become a breed ambassador & offer highly sought after dogs so that other breeders do not have to go through the process of training the Labradors, Bernese Mountain Dogs, and 1st generation Labernese in order to get a pointed, 4th generation authentic Saint-Pierre Dog.

LAB (g2) = LAB (g1) x LAB (g1)
BMD (g2) = BMD (g1) x BMD (g1)

Generation 3
Labernese (g3) = LAB (g2) x BMD (g2)
Labernese (g3) = LAB (g2) x BMD (g2)

Generation 4
Saint-Pierre Dog (g4)** = Labernese (g3) x Labernese (g3)
** These would be the dogs that I not only train/breed myself, but I would also sell/raffle/give them away as part of the Embassy.

Ok it takes a lot to get me to sign up for a new breed but omg SIGN ME UP :D This would be an awesome project to start and work towards to get to the prize breed. It's more of a challenge than just buying it from the store and I am here for it :D

I wasn't sure if the crossbreed request vs. adding a new breed made sense, but I am glad you got it!! It would add a entire new layer (or 3 LOL) *to those that chose to breed these* and I think it would be lots of fun AND bring more recognition to the original purpose of the breed ❤️

I think this is a great idea. They would require a lot more forward-thinking than regular store breeds, and that adds a somewhat unique and interesting challenge.

I don't usually support more breeds being added cause I'm like "we have so manyyyy!" .. but these are really cute!! And I love that they are Canadian! And I love that they are trained to be guide dogs! 

Sign me up to get a Saint Pierre from the embassy! ;P Cause I feel like I would screw up the cross breeding lol 

Also: since this would take 4 upgrades to do, I'm more than willing to have other people train theirs on some of mine if needed. Cuz. That's a lot. haha

LOL Jaya. Very good point. That's a super sweet offer of you! I'll share my upgrades if needed but since I'll be giving away/selling lots, hopefully that also helps encourage more breeders!

I am also hoping that this will "force" more of a market to open since they'll be harder to come by than regular "store" animals.

I would absolutely try this! But I think I'd probably sign up for embassy doggos, because I would definitely screw up the combinations but I also need to go to brain camp and can't get my head around it all. xD

LOL Mango, same....I just bought 40 labs .... working on organizing & training them right now. Then I'm on to buy 40 BMDs....I still have a ton of math to do to make sure I have enough foundations to make the embassy work xD -dies- Why am I so excited about all of this work? hahaha. 

LMAO I'm over here sitting around waiting for the crosses to be added before I start -- and forgetting that the stores are already here and I can start RIGHT NOW *scarpers off to buy an obscene amount of dogs*
