I don't know what made me think of it, but I ended up thinking about Sea Monkeys today! Something I always wanted as a child but never actually managed to get. SO I impulse brought a little tank/starter kit this morning without fully doing my research *facepalm* lol. So naturally, I did my research AFTER the impulse buy and realised I would need an air pump thing. Sooo I went and brought myself a second tank that actually came with /everything/ I needed. Silly silly me lol. Fingers crossed I manage to keep the little suckers alive! Sounds easy enough right? As an aside, has anyone had them and kept them successfully? I hear they can actually last more than a year if well looked after?

Oh my gosh I remember getting these when I was a young kid! At that time they just came in a small little plastic tank. I have no idea what ever happened to them, I'm sure my parents got tired of them sitting on the counter and ended up just dumping them :(.

We had 2 guinea pigs too, but we let the kiddo take them home to her moms house.

Recently I paid like 20 bucks to rescue two guinea pigs... That was my impulse! xD

Ooh I bought my five year old son sea monkeys for Christmas last year! They were absolutely for my benefit also, I love the nostalgia! I get so much more enjoyment out of them than he does, I want more! :P

Both of my aquariums were impulse buys lmao. I cope with stress by spending money so.. too much of my stuff is impulsive xD Usually it's books, video games, and animal things lol.

I impulse buy takeout food, lol. Doesn't help my diet, my weight, my figure. Some days I get home from work and really want chinese food, or indian, or thai, or fish & chips and the next thing I know I've spent £100. NEED. TO. STOP.

Skell I used to impulse buy ranchos! LMFAO I had like 12 slings at one point plus my big adult girl. But sadly none of them made it out of my super shitty living situation a few years ago. Now I have rats.

I am the WORST at impulse buying food and drinks. And eating out of boredom or because of stress. 

Other than that I'm on such a tight budget now from all the debt I'm in I can't really... Impulsively spend. Like I used to.

They are such amazing creatures, so misunderstood! I'm in Australia, so can only keep native species. We can't get the amazing exotic species here, so I'm very jelly! 

Rats are amazing, too. I used to have a couple, they are so sweet < 3

Of course I'm like "but you can keep Australian species!" Because they're not found in the American hobby at all. Which is a good thing! Conservationalism and all that. But I seriously loved keeping tarantulas. My favorites were the South American species and some of the Indian ones.

Haha yeah, we are lucky. We have some amazing inverts and reptiles! Australia takes conservation very seriously which is great, but it means I can't have super cool colourful T's!
