Unfamiliar with the breed? Here's some information from it's breed info page:
"History’s first recorded Morab was the famous trotting horse, Goldust, who was unbeaten as a harness racer, and won a famous race in 1861 against Ironduke for $10,000. In 1920, William Randolph Hearst was credited with coining the name “Morab,” for the athletic Arabian-Morgan horses he bred to work the mountainous terrain of the Hearst Ranch. Today’s well-bred Morabs combine Morgan strength and depth with Arabian refinement and sensitivity. The refined, sculpted beauty of the Arabian, joined with the Morgan’s dramatic natural style and stamina, creates an elegantly powerful horse for use in the show ring, as a working horse, or on the trail. Indeed, most Morabs comfortable switch back and forth in all of these activities."

Did you know the Morab can be breed-to-achieve on HP? The Morab is a recognized crossbreed between Morgans and Arabians, which means you can add an extra level of challenge and fun to breeding Morabs by choosing to crossbreed them from their two parent breeds instead of buying them straight from the store!

To enter the raffle, simply reply to this thread with whether you'd like to start a line of Morabs straight from the store, or if you'd like to crossbreed them from Arabians and Morgans!
You're not obligated to stick with this gameplan if you win! This is just an exercise to get you thinking, planning, and hyped for the breed!

Established Breeders Gift

If you already breed Morabs and have achieved at least Gen Two with your own lines, you can claim 20k points to go on any animal!

You must message me or reply here with a link to your established horse(s).
You must have at least one second generation horse to count! 
You must have bred the horse yourself.
The parent horses must have at least 1mil points at time of breeding.
The points can go on any animal!

I guess I'll enter the raffle! I think if I were to start breeding morabs, I would do it by doing Morgans and Arabians and then crossing them. :)

Woot woot! Excited to see some new Morab lines :)

Sorry for not posting sooner; was having some medical problems, felt better for 2 days and then came down with Covid so it's been a rough month.

If anyone is interested, I do have 3 store pairs set up for the Embassy that will be breeding in two weeks if anyone would like a G2 foal with some points! Just message me and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

I didn't know a thing about Morabs until I was setting up the spotlight and now I have a new breed xD I usually dislike Arabs, but Morgans are gorgeous and I'm a sucker for interesting breed history (the Hearst bit hooked me!)
