Hi guys!

I know it's been QUITE sometime so you've seen my name around HP. I'm still trying to get everything situated with my life - it's taking longer than anticipated but I can't really do much about it. hah.

But, I wanted to see if there were any fellow bike riders in the community. I just purchased my first motorcycle like three days ago. It's a Kawasaki Ninja 400. I've always wanted a bike since like highschool, so were talking like 12 something years or longer... and finally got one. Mostly to save on gas since I drive a truck back and forth to work and I realllllllyyyyyy need to save.

Y'all have NO idea how excited I am to be on this journey. I KNOW it's dangerous, but really anything in life is. Best I can do is make sure I'm using caution and wearing all my protective gear... which I do have. :D

But, if anyone DOES ride bikes, was wondering if they had any advise if they've been riding for a while. I've had my motorcycle license since like 2017-2018 when I took the BRC course in the military. Just never really rode. I have done some research (of course went with a less powerful bike as I'm still learning). I do continue to watch tiktoks but hey never hurts to ask right. Anyways, if you ride... tip away! :D

Me and boog - he was interested in what it was. hah.

Woooh this is dope, congratulations! Not really sure what advice to give, especially as Aussie rules are so different to yours, but I guess just be safe, and have fun!

I do not have a ton of tips to offer, as I am just starting out ridding myself, but I like to find an empty parking lot (or mostly) and just practice all the most important skills. Quick stops, quick starts, figure 8's, swerving safely, etc...
