If it's a feeling or something intangible, take a picture that represents it in some way, either by emotion or correlation.
You can also use a picture you have taken from a previous time in your life, just not a re-post from any other months contests!

First Place: 10,000 points on an animal, an achievement, and your photo featured in the HP Gallery!
Second Place:7,500 points on an animal

This is the Thomson River Bridge near the little mining town of Walhalla, 40 minutes north of my city. I snapped this late in the evening as rain was beginning to fall, and an eerie mist settled into the valley. Walhalla is well-known for it's hauntings and tragic history, and coupled with the heavy forest and ruins of mining homes, it makes for a pretty spooky, yet utterly fascinating place to visit.

Littlest kiddo was so excited to go for a walk today. As soon as we got to the sidewalk, he was off. But he HAD to go out of his way to hit all of the leaves on the sidewalk to make fun crunching sounds (of course).

I took this photo when I was just starting out on my Photography journey.

The groundskeeper had raked a huge pile of leaves together and I couldn't help myself, I had to dive right into it lol.
