As someone who is awful in the kitchen, and doesn't do well with baking, or cooking, or doing anything involving an oven or a stove, I love the simple - nostalgia-inducing - Pillsbury sugar cookies in a log that you just cut, put on a pan, cook for like 15 minutes or what ever, and then serve xD Sometimes, I'll add sprinkles. But thats about as far as Koni goes for cooking anything... 

If I get any points - I'll hold them for a future project. If not, I totally don't blame you xD

My mother has a family recipe...that I dont wanna dig out lol but this is as close to it as it gts ha. Every year, cookies that melt in yur mouth and powdered sugar icing that was always green lol

I'm trying my hand at a homemade gingerbread house this year! I usually make gingerbread men every year if I can find the time, but I'm going to BOTH this year. I'm excited to leave little goodie bags of gingerbread treats for my neighbors. (: I'll try to remember to come back and edit this post with a picture when the time comes!

Ingredients

• 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour


• 1/2 cup unsalted butter room temp


• 3/4 cup white chocolate chips


• 1/2 cup crushed candy canes plus more for dipping


• 1 pinch salt


• 1/4 tsp baking soda


• 1 pinch baking powder


• 1 egg room temp


• 1/2 cup sugar plus 1 tbsp


• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract


• 1/4 tsp peppermint oil

We make these every year and they're amazing!!!!

These Christmas cookies are a huge part of our family's yearly Christmas traditions. We always get together one Sunday before Christmas (we are actually doing them this evening!) and put homemade icing on them and let them sit for 24hrs which makes the cookies so soft and basically melt in your mouth. They are my favorite part of Christmas.

They're a twist on peanut butter blossom cookies - instead of a peanut better cookie with a milk chocolate Hershey kiss, it's a chocolate cookie with a candy cane Hershey kiss!

I don't really have a favorite, but I make a lot of different types of cookies this time of year. So I'll just share one that I loved quite well. If anyone has a recipe for homemade non-alcoholic eggnog, please share! That would definitely be my favorite!
