I went through last night and bought all double tickets. I do it all the time I know to let the pages load, I did everything just right. But all my accounts just say 75 tickets instead of 150 tickets. I spent a bunch of HPB to do the doubles, I bought them right out the cash shop...can someone check on this for me? Thanks :)

Why is it that I specifically posted a reminder about double tix this year ahead of mascot and yet somehow we've had more issues with this than in previous years? -dramatic sigh-

Per the above-linked post...

- You need to make sure your page has your tickets expiry date as 0000-00-00 BEFORE you go buy a double set in the store. If they are not expired fully, you will only get a single set.

- February has 28 days. Tickets reset after 30 days, which means it often does not line up so that it resets every month on the same date as you bought them last month. February to March it's 2 days later (eg. if you bought them on Feb 14th, they'd expire March 16th), and any month that has 31 days, the following month it seems like they expire a day early (eg. July 14th, August 13th because July has 31 days).

- If you didn't buy double tix the previous month, the Cash Shop will still let you buy "double sets" even if your page doesn't say the 0000-00-00, which is when you get only a single set. It's adding the second (double) set of 75 tix onto the 0 you have left from last month, which is why it's 75.

Which again, is why I made a news post specifically explaining this ahead of mascot season, because there's always a player or two who forgets about 28 days every year that I have to fix it for. 

This year it's been several players, some doing it repeatedly after it didn't work the first time, hence my overall frustration, because I did my due dilligence in posting reminding people of this. Honestly it just tells me no one reads my news posts lol.

Makes sense when you explain like that Blitz, but in your original news post you didn't explain that it resets every 30 days.  Just to wait until it says 00-00-00 (which is also helpful but we thought it was a glitch because it says we can buy tix a certain day and that day comes and goes and no zeros)

My mistake forgetting that. I guess I'm out the HPB and I have to refund my buyers. No problem.

Blitz, I can only imagine how frustrating fixing these is for you to do. Is there any way instead of our pages saying "Purchased On: 3/30/25" (for example) it could say something like "X days until next purchase" or even "Next Purchase: 4/29/25" (sticking w my example)? I know March is really the only time of year this is an issue, but I feel like it would save everyone a lot of headache and frustration each year. Just a thought.

Also, just as a side note, I don't think it's super fair to say we don't read your news posts. I read it when you posted it, referred back to it before buying my double sets, and still managed to mess it up on two separate occasions. It seems like it should be a simple concept to grasp, but alas we are all just humans after all. It's frustrating for us too as doubling sets is not cheap.

@Fantasy: If you thought it was a glitch though when it didn't change when you thought it would, why didn't you just message an admin asking, instead of buying double tickets thinking it would still work? Also, it says it in the Help pages...

@Arzu: That's been suggested before. I tried to change it, but it was a very big fail, because it involves coding in math. The date you see on your page is literally how it's registered on your account's row in the player table on the back end of the site. So in order to get it to show how many days left, it would need to be a code with math, which is super complicated no matter how many php coding help pages I read on the topic. 

Also my comment on reading the news was a partial joke for the sheer number of people who've had the issue this year that I honestly makes me laugh, pull out my hair, and question if people pay attention lol. I like to hope people read my news posts!

Edit: I just tried to code in it telling you when your current tickets expire to the Cash Shop Double Tickets area. And failed. SO. Instead I added some text in red with another reminder about checking your dates.

when we check the dates, it says last tickets purchased and so i feel in our minds that is when we should, in theory, be able to buy aother set.  It does say in the Cash Shop if im allowed to buy a double set (usuallys says im not allowed to buy a set until the next day - like if i bought a set march 14 i can't buy in the cash shop until april 15) so got confused and thought i was a glitch and paid to buy the double and got confused again when only 75 showed up andn not 150. hopefully now i understand it better for next month.  Thanks Blitz for your help

If it helps anyone I made a spread sheet of all my accounts and formatted it to show red when it has been 30 days since I bought tix. It's easier to keep track that way. You apply this to the column of dates using conditional formatting. Then you can see what is ready and blitz doesn't have to do coding math. lol here is the the formula and how to set it (if you need help just message me):

I also wait until everything says 00-00-0000. However, it would also be really helpful if people actually read the news post that blitz posted! *sigh* i can't even imagine blitz's fustration with people right now.

I think the confusion, after re-reading the original post and Blitz's explanation again here is that the original post did not say anything specifically about tickets resetting every 30 days. I had read the post but was also confused about what would happen in March and ended up getting my tickets even a few days late because I was worried about the change over (because I did not know it was every 30 not 31 days). Obviously by now everyone who has been playing the game should know this but obviously I even got confused and have been playing for years!

I believe my understanding is that for Nyt everything was showing as 00-00-0000 on her homepage so I can see why she was confused by it not working!

Obviously none of us know the true inner workings of the game as we are not the ones behind the scenes. Thank you for taking the time to educate further on the subject as I think with this added information it has helped us all out. I am sorry that this causes you extra work Blitz as I do not think ANY player ignores what you say or try and do for us. But, as humans, we make mistakes or misunderstand, and I think everyone gets that :)
