HI GAIZ!

I haven't been around much lately but I figured i'd drop by and introduce my new fids!

First is Panda. He's Zoe's little brother. I gave Odie & Luna one more go at raising chicks, but they suck at it and I had to pull Panda for hand raising at 4-5 days old. He's now 9 weeks old!



And the other day I impulse bought a 9 week old indian ringneck (same hatch date as panda!). This is Indy



And here's one of Zoe all grown up. She's 8 months old now!

I'm a bit of a crazy bird lady. Indy takes my bird count to 7 lol!

I took some new ones of Zoe today. She's just so pretty. And she is SO SOFT! I am forever grabbing her and just petting her all over because she's so freaking soft. I love it. She seems to like it, too. I'm glad she likes cuddles, because if she didn't, our lives would be very uncomfortable.







In other birdy news, Indy is settling in well. He takes food from my hands now and he'll step up on my arm. He's still a bit wary of hands and tries to bite fingers instead of stepping up, but i'm pretty sure he's just sussing out the stability of where i'm asking to step up by applying pressure, so I need to stop pulling my hands away when he does it. Usually it's just a light nibble but sometimes he does it quite hard and it hurts lol. He's learning though, and so am I. We're just learning about eachother. He's cute. I like him. :P My husband likes him, too. I think he prefers the bigger birds lol.

Zoe is a camera ham! Lol! So adorable!
