Ok so most knew about this already, but....

I finally got to buy the paint gelding ive wanted since forever ago!!! I first saw him around his yearling year and knew they would never sell him...Well i guess it was decemeber 2015 when they were kicking around the idea of selling one of the colts(mine or a little buckskin)

The grandson decided they wanted to concentrate on the buckskin(probably because he was born there) and decided to finally sell Seven!

I got a text from my moms friend who works at the ranch telling me he was ready to sell him..i asked how much and was ready to pay atleast $1200...but much to my surprise I paid $2.00 for him! Of course i snatched him up quick!!!

Ill have to wait on his papers though as the ranch owners has to do transfers and such...

but his daddy is Banjo isa Dandy(can be viewed on allbreed) and im not sure on his mom....

@lovestoned- i ride western :) i really wanted to get into reining, but my gelding is too big(or will be) but im hoping maybe the baby will be perfect for it!

@sass- i will(if i ever get to see Seven) ill be contacting them everyday this next week until i get to see my horse.

Why is his mane crap now? What changed?  He's still such a handsome boy!

Its getting short and thin because the girl takes it out too often and they dont roll it up when they ride him..

I finally got an ok to go see him and maybe ride him on saturday!!!

I can't think of the name right now, but they sell a serum you can put on their manes to help it come back thicker! There's a horse at the barn I ride at which uses it. I seriously cannot think of the name, but it smells like bacon, haha. BV might know what it's called!

Yeah...MTG, it's gross but does the job!

Ive used MTG before and ive heard MTG can burn the skin if its added and then the horse has sun exposure...

my mane n tail detangler was doing a fabulous job because the tangles slid right out!

i may tape it up on saturday and just tell them to leave it alone for 3 months! lol

Yeah, too bad about his mane :( But it will grow back and he still has a very cute face! He looks like he's doing very well.

He looks so handsome under saddle!

Also oh Mane n Tail. The only hair care line my roommate can use that's not a premium salon brand for his crazy Sicilian hair.

I use a ton(almost a whole bottle) mane n tail detangler everytime i redo his mane..

I spray it on the braids and under the braids and let it dry and then remove the braids and the i spray more all over and then flip it over and spray the under side... by then there are no tangles and its easy to braid...then after its rebraided i spray more on the braids and underneath the braids and in the parts...so basically a whole bottle lol!!

But when i get him home im gonna keep it rolled up with electrical tape so it doesnt get rubbed out anymore!

my sister said he would be good for west pleas. or english....but he is currently basically gona be a ranch/trail horse.

i need to get on another shift so i can ride him when he comes home...my moms friend offered to ride him, but she wont ride him the way he will need to be rode and she has like 9 horses to ride a day...soooo he wont get rode anyways unless i go after work! which my mom just bought a house around the corner from the ranch so i can stay there after i ride!
