Ok so most knew about this already, but....

I finally got to buy the paint gelding ive wanted since forever ago!!! I first saw him around his yearling year and knew they would never sell him...Well i guess it was decemeber 2015 when they were kicking around the idea of selling one of the colts(mine or a little buckskin)

The grandson decided they wanted to concentrate on the buckskin(probably because he was born there) and decided to finally sell Seven!

I got a text from my moms friend who works at the ranch telling me he was ready to sell him..i asked how much and was ready to pay atleast $1200...but much to my surprise I paid $2.00 for him! Of course i snatched him up quick!!!

Ill have to wait on his papers though as the ranch owners has to do transfers and such...

but his daddy is Banjo isa Dandy(can be viewed on allbreed) and im not sure on his mom....

I got to ride him in the round pen for like 5 minutes and then i got to take him out on the trail.

We went over bridges, 2 step bridges, logs, through the rope curtain, and through the roundbale feeder :)

He was good, he does get trotty because he hasnt learned to walk fast, so he tries to trot and catch up.

So ill have to work on that when he comes home!

He said i can come more often if i wanted, to learn how to better ride him...the right way instead of the lazy way! Haha

And i know i said id take some pics of riding the ranch horses, but i only took one cuz we had to herd down a cow and two calves...soo yeah lol

For now ill just stick to Sevens pictures!

 he looks so cute! He looks like he'd make a super cute little ranch trail horse :D

 He still has a pawing issue, which we were hoping would sorta fix itself with him being worked everyday...but they said he will dig a whole in the ground so they hobble him now...which i suppose isnt a bad thing...so that means ill invest in some when he comes home..

Also just recently bought a 90 day trial of Biomane to see if i can restore his mane and get his tail growing :)

Read tons of reviews and everyone loves how it works... maybe overture should look into it for jackson if you havent already?! 

Im super excited to get him home though! 

He has a new tailbag waiting for him, which i might use it on my paint mare instead, because im gonna try vet wrap and twine on his tail...but not sure yet! I may just leave it alone and see if this feed works..

I will be wrapping up his mane though...so i do need to i vest in electrical tape or just use vet wrap...not sure yet!

today was Sevens last day at the trainers!

hes home now!!!

now i gotta do some major mane repair as it looks horrible and looks like someone chewed on it...

:( That's no good. I hope his mane heals up quick. Really pretty pon though! Congrats on the great find!

Its still semi long...past his neck, but i can do anything with it until friday :(

But i started him on his biomane supplement so that should help!

I feel you on the mane thing - I am super obsessed with keep Jacskson's looking halfway decent as hes the only horse I've had with a mane haha
Who is the mama horse?! is she yours?! who is she in foal to?!

Im very very obsessed with his mane and want it done a certain way....and she gave him a haircut without asking as well...as in gave him a bridlepath again...how does she know that i didnt want it to grow out?! Its not that she did it, its she did it without asking the owner...she needs to realize she cant dictate what goes on with someone elses horse without their permission...

And the momma horse is my horse :) she is due april 9th(not the 22nd which i thought)

And she is in foal to Red Yeller Candy...my sisters foundation bred stallion...hes nothing special as in no show career and he was rescued, but turned out to be a very nice ...he has a nice thick mane and forelock...

 I tried to ride him the other day with his mane loose and unbraided and omg lol alot tougher than people make it look!!!

Also did my first attempt at electrical taping his mane up, and its also alot harder than it looks! But i think i did an ok job!

No pictures of it though...

I did take a blurry picture(i was riding)of him and his momma and he is taller than his momma...

He gets an attitude when i work him in the roundpen but then is a lazy butt when i actually ride him, BUT im so ok with that! Love more woah than go! Haha

If i can ever get my life together i wanna take him back to craigs for lessons so i can get better with my riding!

Figured its been awhile, sooo here are some new pictures of Seven and of my mare who refuses to have her baby...makes me think that her due date was actually the 22nd and not the 9th....so we shall see! Hope she has it soon! We are all waiting to see the color!
