until the servers crashed for about two hours but now I'm back in business. I've caught about 10 pokemon so far :)

I want to be but the servers have been down every time I try to login.  I have been trying since 6:30am this morning. GRRRRRRR

This will be keeping me outside for the rest of the summer xD going for walks at random times during the day and at night haha don't care who sees me :D

Anyone figure out how to battle yet? My understanding is that we gotta be level 5 and train at a gym?

Level 5 then you challenge the gym if its a different team than you. If its the same team as you, you can train.

You battle by tapping to attack and swiping to dodge.

Are you assigned a gym when you hit level 5?

I've been walking around my town all day trying to find every pokestop I could haha I just joined team instinct too (: what teams have yall joined if joined yet ??

What's the coolest pokemon you've got so far?

I was able to get to level 5 last night and hit up a gym.  I was dumb and thought the battles were like old school Pokemon and I was waiting for my turn to attack.  They kill ed 3 Pokemon before I realized I can attack at the same time.  BOO HISS!  Oh well!  If the servers ever let me back on I am hitting up the same gym again tonight and should hopefully smash them!

Haha I need to go back and challenge gyms in my town..but there are literally only red and blue gym leaders so I have to attempt to beat them all xD 

My favorite Pokémon caught so far are my squirtle and eevee, but my whole neighborhood is infested with rattata and weedle -_-
