So I just returned from a trip to California to try to find a new horse after I sold Chips, I was able to find two really good potiential horses that I wish I could afford both but I can only afford one. There names are Herbie and Ben.

Herbie is a 2005 bay holsteiner gelding that stands at 16.1

Ben is a 2007 grey irish sport horse gelding that stands at 17.1

Both have gentle/calm personalities and fit what I was looking for perfectly. I'm vetting Herbie first since he's in my budget where as Ben is a little out of it, but I'm willing to pay his price if Herbie doesn't vet out. I'm super excited about all of this, so I thought I'd share with you guys about the experience.

Thanks guys! Herbie is getting vetted today, if he vets clean I'll be buying him if not I'll be vetting Ben.

This is so exciting. They are both cuties. I know nothing about horses except the basics. I love Herbie's colors, but something about Ben keeps pulling me towards him! But YIKES! What a price difference. I can't wait to see which you end up with and see more pictures.

Herbie vetted clean, have made a deal just have to sign a sales contract and get him shipped from California to Hawaii. So as it stands I unofficially have a new horse!

how does one ship a horse? By boat or plane?

We can do either, but I'm shipping by plane if everything works out and the date doesn't get changed he could be in Hawaii as early as the 26th.
