I was playing Furry Paws and I saw that they have a few mini-games that you can play a set amount of times per day to earn cash prizes. They even have automated blackout bingo rounds that start every 10 minutes! I realize that if this suggestion were to be accepted, it might only happen much later. I think it could be good especially for new players who need to earn money to get their lines started.

There could still be regular bingo for when there are extra-awesome prizes, of course.

I think from HL my personal face was the hay game, where you peiced them together to fill the whole stall and tried not to leave block open lol

The only reason I login to HL anymore is to play the apple game. xD

I honestly think I still hear the music for the apple game in my nightmares.  But I also had to play it constantlyyyy to try to keep my lines going.  Don't think I miss it at alllll =P

But I think on that note, it would be fun to add mini-games here for some of the younger players who don't have as easy access to ways to make money on here. And mini-games are kinda cute... =D

This just reminded me of all my dogs that have aged on Furry Paws. :p

I think having some fun mini games to win some cash would be a great idea! It could help new players build up some funds, and also a fun way to keep players on HP for longer and something else to do if all training is done for the week and a player just wants to kill some time!

Lots of people have mentioned this on the survey as well. Is this something everyone is interested in? It is a possibility for us to add some mini games in.

If we added them they would earn you HPD (and/or maybe animal points) when you played them, and there would be a cap on the number of times you could play per day. But just a little something extra to do.

I know in the past when it's come up people have been concerned that it would be too childish for HP, but times change! So, yes, no, maybe?

I like the mini game idea as a way to earn more HPD and points. I also can think of some new achievements to tie in with mini games!

I personally think its a good addition as long as its not a REQUIREMENT of play.

So long as you don't go down the same path as HL and keep it more Waja like I think I'd be 100% okay with it. :) And please - whatever you do - don't change the game currency on us. ;)

I'm not sure I agree with Envi and Nyx/songbird (not sure which one posted) about the argument that "if HP adds mini games, then HP becomes HL". HP is way, way different than HL in so many ways. The mini games were just one part of HL's "big change". 

I do think that HL's games are cartoonish in a child-like way. I know they made it that way to be similar with their cartoon series that they have (is it even still running?). 

I think adding a couple or few mini-games to HP could be really fun! And it would give players another thing to compete at (high scores). I think that if Sam does add them, I would be in favor of them looking a little more..."grown-up"? That may not be the right word, but maybe just a less cartoony, targeted to 6 year-olds look? 

I also agree with tana that adding mini-games would also help new players make some quick HPD. Then they can take their time learning what other ways they can make more income, like account training or graphics.

It was me ( nyx ) and I get that hl went cartoon ish with everything the tv show the mini games.. etc ..  but that is what i am afraid of.. i know it wont cause sam actually listens .. maybe this would be more better and harder to earn hpd etc?

And i think there should be an option as to which youd prefer: hpd or points.

The mini games was and is the best thing about HL now.

And i dont think Sam would ever take the HL road...

And as for childish most of us are adults playing/spending real money on a fake game...for fake animals...and for fake money...i mean if you went into a crowd and said i play a horse game, what do you think theyd do or say?! 

So adding a few mini games i dont think would turn hp into hl at all.
