So, I had an idea for private shows that isn't quite fully formed but maybe others could add to it. Right now it is a lot of work to enter horses in to private shows, or at least I think it is, and I think maybe there is a way to decrease the time. This would possibly work for full private shows and for just spots. Perhaps there could be a password generated for each private show and when the creator of the show gives it to the buyer then they would just have to type it in and not have to wait to be accepted? So you could automatically enter you horses. And to keep it from being abused a player could set how many horses or dogs are allowed in the show? I dunno, it's just an idea and I'm open for any other opinions or suggestions.

Or when the creator of the show accepts a request said horse or dog is automatically accepted into the show? :)

I think Catt's idea is more easy to implement regarding coding and logistics. However, many time-saving ideas have been suggested before regarding training, and they are usually denied because too many simplifications means the game becomes less challenging. You need to spend time on here and putting in effort.

That works too but I thought it might be easier for the seller and buyer if the buyer could just do it themselves. But I'm up for whatever makes this easier.

I'm all for easier but I know that in the past when things are suggested to make training easier that Sam, as Tana said, denies them because making the game too easy or simple for players takes the challenge out. Part of why a lot of us are still here are because of that challenge and the pride in managing to train incredibly high pointed animals.

I totally get the pain of private shows, I've done full privates on 3 generations of horses now, and while it's a pain to manage the schedule and have to go through twice to request and then enter, I totally find it worth it. There are sime ways to make it a bit simplier if you're interesed in how I managed.

Yea i have to agree with Siib lol .. I love doing what i do to see Whirls points crawl up . its a pain but it is totally worth it in the end :)

I get the challenge but I guess I don't see how taking one step out of entering shows would make it less challenging. I think it would  only make it more fun. But perhaps things are more difficult for me as I have to do everything on my cellphone. If I could have multiple browsers open maybe it wouldn't be so hard. But if you have suggestions I would be glad for the help.

Ah yeah I can see how it would be rough on a phone but at the same time, that's part of the point of the game. You work for your points. Sam has already done a lot to simplify parts of the game and add a lot of imporvements but I don't think shows are one area she's considering on adjusting. I could be wrong! She'll see this and weigh in I'm sure! :)

All my tips are from the computer as I only do basic training on my phone when I absolutely have to.

I dunno how you can play from a mobile phone. It's self-torture lol. That said, I bet that's why you feel like it takes a lot of time. Most of us play from a computer.

I think if we make training too easy/really quick to do, then people will buy a whole bunch of horses/dogs and it could overload the server. Plus, when there are too many animals from certain breeds, it could lower their value, especially because there was less time involved in getting them to where they are.

Also, I dunno even going with what Catt said of when the seller accepts the horse it gets automatically entered would be so nice. You still have to search for the shows and enter them which takes time and dedication. But like I said I'm probably just frustrated because I have to do everything from a phone.

I'd love to see private show requesting be a check-box instead of the drop-down though...so you could do multiples at once, like with club registry.

but i train from my phone (when i have to, mainly only enter privates) but i do train 95% of the time off an ipad and thats including entering shows :)

Everyone who has to train from their phones gets an A and several bonus points. When I try to do it I want to scream lol
