SO I JUST GOT A NEW SLOW COOKER
(THAT DOES NOT MAKE ME WORRY ABOUT BURNING MY HOUSE DOWN)
AND I NEED RECIPES FOR MEALS.

FOR CONTEXT, I WORK 10-12 HOUR DAYS AND WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TOPREP THE NIGHT BEFORE,
THROW FROM THE FRIDGE TO THE POT AT 6 AM, AND EAT AT 6PM.

SO... ANY SUGGESTIONS?

I recommend breaking the cinnstick in half for more flavour!

Made this for the first time today and it's def on my top faves list now...

Easy Crockpot Meatloaf Dinner

Ingredients:
2 lb Ground Beef
1/4 Cup Bread Crumbs
2 Eggs
1/4 Cup Diced Onion
2 TSP Garlic Powder
1 TB Dried Parsly
1 TSP Salt
1/2 TSP Pepper
3 TB A1 Steak Sauce
1/4 Cup Ketchup
1/3 Cup BBQ Sauce

Topping:
1/3 Cup Ketchup
2 TB Brown Sugar
2 TSP Worcestershire Sauce

Veggies:
2 Cups Baby Carrots
3-4 Cups Small Red Potatoes
2 TB Olive Oil
1 TB Minced Garlic
Salt & Pepper To Taste

Instructions:
Prepare your crockpot with cooking spray.
In a large bowl, mix together beef, bread crumbs, eggs, onion, garlic powder, parsley, salt, pepper, A1, ketchup and BBQ sauce.
It is best to mix by hand to combine all ingredients.
Form a loaf and place into the center of the slow cooker.
Make sure the meat is not touching the edges.
In a small bowl mix together topping ingredients. Brush on top of meatloaf so it it evenly coated.
In a large bowl, combine carrots, potatoes, olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper. Toss until ingredients are well combined. Place veggies around the outer edges of your meat loaf.
Cover and cook on LOW for 7-8 hours.

It literally boils down to me being ultra lazy Jaya.
I work long days so if I can prep and throw it in and then not have to think when I get home?
Way better

Making BBQ pullee chicken today.

Recipe is super simple:
- 1-2 cups of BBQ sauce
- 2-3 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 onion, diced small
- 6-8 chicken breasts (trim off the the fat and cut into chunk for better flavour infusion)
- season to taste with: seasoning salt, garlic, any herbs you prefer

Cook 4-10 hours, depending on heat setting (4 on higher, 10 on lower).
Once cooked, use a fork to shreeds into pieces that are "pulled" and enjoy on a bun!  Or over rice!  Or... just eat it

Was the Texas pulled pork easy to make?  Going to my last show of the year and I really don't want fair food every night.   Will be stalking this thread for more ideas

It was pulled chicken but can be done with pork!
(I used the Texas recipe last week with chicken too - pork gives me tummyaches)

And its about the same for easy level - 5-10 minutes to prep, leave it to cook, 5 minutes to shred, and 5 minutes to wash the slow cooker.

I think you posted the pulled pork one a few weeks ago, I'm just late to the thread!  But the chicken one sounds good too; my friends would probably like the chicken one better.

I find add a bit more salt if you switch to chicken and it's swappable.
