I'm a little bit like you Nad, I try not to make things to female dominated. I was thinking to temper it down we could have male and female live seperate and come together for one festival every two years or something. 

I was thinking more in gems of copious animal life rather than human life form, maybe in reality only a few hundred?

I like to idea of more animal life than human life too.

Hi Friends! I am trying my best to play catch up with this thread. I really like all of the ideas presented. I totally understand not wanting it to go too feminist! That is valid. Each of y'all are so creative! I love what y'all are coming up with. Just let me know how I can help!

Yeah we are! No worries! We technically have until like Wednesday to get it submitted anyways.

I am okay thank you. I have terrible siatica, and I inflamed the nerve while bathing my new puppy *facepalm* and then managed to exacerbate another injury I have to my lower disk. I have spent the last two days laying in bed!

Okay, so here we have it. This is what I call the "final copy" small adjustments can be made and if we are all happy then we can send it over to Mango! It seems to be about the same length as the content that Mango creates. Obviously we could create a few hundred word document creating our own planet!

Welcome to our home, Valentris, a planet where only the brave may tread. Full of icy wonder, and forests of untold mysteries, tread carefully as you explore our fields of ice, and whatever you do, do not let it’s bright, vibrant colours fool you. There are many monsters who prey on the unaware and weary travellers. Our ice jungles hold wonders, creatures that you have never seen before, large, black cats with thick, shaggy coats to protect them from the frosts, and cold. Brilliant blue and green frogs with large web feet that melt the ice with their toes as they hop place to place. Leopards and bright carnivorous toucans prowl the treetops, waiting for their next meal.  

Valentris is a cruel mistress. The days are short, filled with mist and fog, easy for an unaware traveller to get lost, never to be seen again. Although the sun shines brightly on Valentris, the cold seeps into your very being and you never feel quite warm enough. Our winters are harsh, with snowstorms, and hurricanes lashing at our heels, great wind monsters rising from the north. But when they pass, behold the coloured ice dangly from the trees, beautiful hues of blues and pinks, but be wary the uneducated traveller, stand underneath one and you are in for a painful death.

Valentris is home to the Valentrians, a race of warriors that live in separate groups, male and female coming together once a year to perform the V’danzar, the mating ritual. Valentris is mainly female dominated, the males the laws and governance of these warrior woman, but do not take them for pushovers, they are talented archers, and fiercely protective of their warrior queens. Tall and willowy, the Valentrians are natural tree climbers, and make their homes among the treetops, away from the ice and snow, their homes reaching for the sun. They live in harmony with the forest, taking only what they need, and are strict vegetarians, living off tubular vegetables found under the ground, the rich honey found in the copious amounts of ferns that grow with wild abandon amongst the forest. Valentris is home to a small population, only a few hundred, for only the strongest and fiercest survive in such a harsh and unforgiving environment. Living in small clans of thirty to forty, each Valentrian can turn into the spirit creature assigned to each group. In any form they can communicate with this animal and they work in harmony to defend the icy planet.

Valentris is a cruel mistress, but most of all, look out for us Valentrians, we don’t take it kindly when a stranger enters our midsts.

Yeah, I think honestly we just lift it from here! I honestly would hate to send it out and miss someone, I would feel awful! But if someone wants to do that but go for it! 

I was hoping to wait for Tragedy because she had some great ideas and I wanna make sure I did them justice :)

I think you did a really great job covering many of the different ideas we all talked about! And lien you said we could write pages upon pages about this unique world but we don't have time for that! I hope others enjoy it as well and most of all it was fun to work together to create it.

There's a good start to a new story for you to write too, City. I expect to see a new book in the stores called Valentris some time in the future with book signings and everything! You shouldn't be shy about sharing your writing. You have an absolutely amazing talent!! I wish I could write like that!

Ill messages pink and Jax to make sure they saw the last quest and know to send this to mango by Wednesday so they can get credit for it too. No crew left behind!
