But when they arrive, they are greeted with a mystery. With darkness, danger, the unknown. This is not a galaxy they’ve arrived at, not any kind of star. No - this is a black hole.

Where ships are lost even to the Norns.
Though fear creeps like hoar frost in your veins, the next step is clear. Valhalla awaits on the other side - if you can survive the crossing.
Luckily, there are a few among the many crews who have considered a way to pass through the gravity pit. It will require technology and resources that will not be easy to find - but any chance at increasing your odds is worth every effort.
A list is created. Plans are drawn. Assignments given.
And the fleet scatters once more.
Welcome back to Chapter VII of the Epic Quest - Valhalla!
Here’s how the Epic Quest works: I will host an activity each month that plays into the story being told. You’ll earn small prizes for each activity you complete - like points, HPD, or cash shop items. You’ll also earn XP points, and the player with the most XP points at the end of the year - December 2021 - will win the grand prize: 1. A fully coded tabbed layout from me featuring a graphic themed after this year’s quest and 2. Matching animal CSS and 3. A 1-year upgrade!
Participate in the Epic Quest activity every month of the year, and you’ll earn a special prize: 1. An official HP achievement and 2. A store pair with 100k points.
If you haven't joined yet but would like to, check out Chapter I to figure out how to create your Viking! You need to message me with a clan, a specialty, and a name - then you can join one of the crews below!

MAKE THE LIST
If you have a Snake Clan viking in your crew, you and your crewmates will be in charge of creating a list of resources, tools, and/or technology. You do not have to research space travel to try and create an accurate list - just have fun coming up with interesting names for things, or pull from sci-fi sources! Examples: quantum processor, iridium, compression shield, mangorite.
You must come up with at least 10 items, and you must send me this list by 11:59 pm HP time on Wednesday, Oct. 20th.
GATHER MATERIALS
If you do NOT have a Snake Clan viking in your crew, you and your crewmates will be in charge of gathering the items on the list created by the crews with Snake Clan members! The list will come to you in the form of a word search - each member of your crew will have to send me their own completed word search.
Word searches will be provided on Thursday, Oct. 21st and must be completed and sent to me by 11:59 pm HP time on Sunday, Oct. 24th.
A BIT OF LUCK
Rare and useful resources may make an appearance on HP this week! Keep an eye out in the forums, various chat rooms, online players list, and graphic auctions. If you spot a resource, take a screenshot and send it to me to earn bonus XP points!
PRIZES: Completing a list with at least 10 items OR completing the word search - 10 XP points BONUS: Finding a rare resource - 3 XP points each
