This is a monthly event! Get to know your fellow HPer! :D Each featured player will be announced during the first full week of the new month! Message me at (#22700) or provide feedback when voting opens up towards the end of each month with one nomination for a player who you feel like they deserve a little recognition within the HP Community! They could be your best gaming friend, partner, or a player who you admire for their lines of animals, or even their artwork/coding skills. Don’t know someone, pick them in hopes of getting to know them! This is kinda like “Employee of the Month” only instead of your picture being taken some more cool things happen! Guidelines/Qualifications! Anyone can nominate another player, event coordinator, moderator, or admin! You can only nominate one player each month and from one account, not per account owned. No, you cannot nominate yourself. :p *...To be qualified for this recognition…* * You must be an active player on HP for at least 3 consecutive months with the current month being most recent within the same calendar year. (So if you go on hiatus, come back, but have been playing for x amount of years prior, the active time resets upon your return.) * You take part in one of the following (or all if that’s the kind of social butterfly you are!)... - Interacting with others in Chat - Posting in the Forums - Participating in site-wide/event coordinator hosted activities/events - Participate in monthly club run activities/events or running for club president - Have animals active in training or foals/pups waiting to age up for training - You help promote HP on our socials by liking and or commenting on our posts * Must not have already earned “Player of the Month”. (All previous winners are welcome to re-visit their interview thread and update with any new info if you want!) How Does This Work? *...Monthly nominees are determined by…* - Nomination messages I receive in my inbox - Nominations provided in the voting form for the following month’s P.o.t.M. winner * From the tally of names I collect from the 2 ways posted above throughout the first 3 weeks of each month the player with the most nominations will win. * If I do not receive at least 3 nominees each month… - An at random list of players will be chosen for the month to be put to a vote (At random will come from reviewing the recently logged in and activity of each player) * If nominations are tied; their names will be chosen at random using a randomizer to determine that month’s winner. * If I receive no new nominations during the current month, I will pick the player from the previous month’s nominations who had the 2nd highest votes, or if there was a tie the names would be chosen at random using a randomizer to determine a winner. How To Nominate a Player! * Message Me at (#22700). You may send me a message once per month! - Please title your message “Player of the Month Nominee” or something similar! Thanks! - Nominee’s Player Name & ID#: - Reason Why or Community Chatter Note: * Respond within the Voting Form which will be posted in the new month’s winner’s interview thread as well as a link will be updated in this thread for easy access. * Make sure to double check that your nominee hasn’t already been mentioned in previous months during the same calendar year! A list will be provided in this thread for quick reference. * Everything resets with the start of a new year! The Fun Stuff! If you have been chosen for “Player of the Month” you will receive… - A message from me asking for information and providing you with our interview questions! - An achievement award - You can choose between 3 designs! - 7 days of upgrade time - A shout out in the monthly Newsletter - A recognition post via Facebook & Instagram - A news post and forum post all about You - Special notes from members of Staff & Players called “Community Chatter” - Your name will be added to the “Player of the Month” page in the Community tab (In the meantime it will be listed below in this thread until the page has been created) This Is The New & Improved P.o.t.M.
